This Cieling represents in proper and curious Emblems, the prosperous state of Great Britain in the Reign / of King James the 1st. His Concern for Religion, his Love of Arts, and Sciences, the Birth of a Prince, the / Union of the two Kingdoms and his Majesty's most Eminent Virtues Crown'd with Glory and Immortality. 

In hisce Tabulis Pax et Copia se mutuo amplexae, Res Britannicas, regnante Jacobo I.o, Filio Regi recens nato, / conjunctisque sub unius Imperio Angliae Scotiaeque Regnis, maxime floruisse testantur. His plurimisque / aliis beneficiis, Rex de Religione, de bonis Artibus, et de Patriâ bene meritus Coelo et Immortaliate donatur.
